Compact Structure · Centrifugal Atomization · Direct Water Supply · Flexible Installation

The YTE MAF280 Series is a compact industrial atomization fan designed for evaporative cooling, humidification and high-velocity air movement in industrial, agricultural and semi-open operating environments.

Using centrifugal atomization technology, the system converts incoming water into fine droplets and distributes them through a powerful airflow stream. The atomization output can be adjusted from 0–25 L/h, allowing the system to adapt to different temperatures, humidity conditions and cooling requirements.

The series is available in two configurations:

YTE-MAF280A — Fixed-direction model for wall-mounted or suspended installation
YTE-MAF280B — Automatic oscillating model for wider airflow and mist distribution

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Compact Industrial Cooling and Humidity Control

The YTE MAF280 Series is designed for applications where conventional floor-standing misting equipment is inconvenient or where valuable floor space must remain clear.

By combining strong airflow with centrifugal atomization, the MAF280 Series provides localized environmental support without requiring a refrigeration compressor or large integrated water tank.

The system connects directly to an external water supply and can operate continuously when properly installed.

Typical functions include:

  • Evaporative cooling
  • Humidification
  • Air circulation
  • Localized worker cooling
  • Heat-stress reduction
  • Air-assisted mist distribution
  • Environmental moisture support

  • Automatic oscillation
  • Wider airflow coverage
  • Wider mist distribution
  • Direct water connection
  • Adjustable atomization output
  • Centrifugal atomization
  • Improved distribution uniformity
  • Suitable for medium-area cooling applications

KEY FEATURES

1. Centrifugal Atomization Technology

The YTE MAF280 Series uses centrifugal force to convert water into fine droplets.

Unlike conventional high-pressure misting systems that depend heavily on small nozzles and high-pressure pumps, the centrifugal atomization system provides a practical and robust solution for industrial cooling and humidification applications.

Atomization Output

0–25 L/h Adjustable

Operators can regulate the water output according to ambient temperature, relative humidity, ventilation and application requirements.

2. Evaporative Cooling

The MAF280 Series uses water evaporation to remove sensible heat from the surrounding air.

Fine droplets are introduced into the airflow stream. As the droplets evaporate, they absorb heat from the surrounding environment.

The system can therefore provide effective localized cooling without a refrigeration compressor.

Cooling performance is influenced by:

  • Ambient temperature
  • Relative humidity
  • Ventilation rate
  • Air velocity
  • Water output
  • Installation height
  • Airflow direction
  • Heat load
  • Evaporation distance

The system generally performs best in hot, relatively dry and well-ventilated environments.

3. Adjustable Humidity Support

In addition to evaporative cooling, the system can increase moisture content in the surrounding air.

This makes the MAF280 Series suitable for applications where excessive dryness may affect people, materials, animals or production processes.

The adjustable 0–25 L/h atomization output allows the operator to balance cooling and humidification according to actual operating conditions.

4. Direct Water Connection

The MAF280 Series is designed for direct connection to an external water supply.

This eliminates the need for frequent manual water-tank refilling and makes the equipment more suitable for long-duration industrial operation.

Benefits include:

  • Continuous water supply
  • Reduced manual handling
  • Suitable for fixed installations
  • Easier integration into factory water systems
  • Better suitability for continuous operation

5. Compact Installation

The MAF280 Series is designed for installations where floor space is limited or where floor-standing equipment may interfere with workers, machinery or material handling.

Depending on the selected model and mounting configuration, the equipment can be installed on walls, suspended structures or dedicated brackets.

This makes the MAF280 Series particularly useful for:

  • Production lines
  • Narrow work areas
  • Warehouses
  • Workshops
  • Livestock buildings
  • Greenhouses
  • Loading zones
  • Fixed cooling points

6. Strong Air Movement

The fan generates a high-speed airflow that carries the atomized water into the target zone.

The airflow provides two functions simultaneously:

Air Movement
Improves air circulation and perceived cooling.

Mist Transportation
Distributes atomized water over a larger effective distance.

The combined airflow and atomization effect makes the MAF280 Series more effective than passive humidification alone.

7. Fixed or Oscillating Air Distribution

Different operating environments require different airflow patterns.

Choose MAF280A When:

  • One specific area requires cooling
  • Airflow needs to remain focused
  • The installation position is fixed
  • Localized cooling is the priority
  • Wall or suspended installation is preferred

Choose MAF280B When:

  • A wider area requires cooling
  • Airflow needs to move across the space
  • More uniform mist distribution is required
  • Multiple workers or zones need coverage
  • Automatic oscillation is preferred

HOW IT WORKS

Centrifugal Atomization + High-Speed Airflow

The operating process is simple:

1. Water Supply
Water enters the machine through the external water connection.

2. Centrifugal Atomization
The rotating atomization mechanism converts the incoming water into fine droplets.

3. Air Transportation
The fan generates a high-speed airflow that carries the droplets into the target area.

4. Evaporation
Part of the fine water droplets evaporates into the surrounding air.

5. Heat Absorption
The evaporation process absorbs heat from the environment.

6. Cooling and Humidity Increase
The surrounding air temperature can decrease while the moisture content of the air increases.

COOLING PRINCIPLE

Evaporative Cooling — Not Compressor Refrigeration

The YTE MAF280 Series is an evaporative cooling product.

It does not use:

  • Refrigerant
  • Compressor
  • Condenser
  • Refrigeration circuit
  • DX cooling system

Cooling is created through the physical process of water evaporation.

The effectiveness of evaporative cooling depends heavily on environmental conditions.

Best Conditions

The system performs best when:

  • Temperature is high
  • Relative humidity is relatively low
  • Fresh air exchange is sufficient
  • Airflow is unobstructed
  • Atomized water has sufficient evaporation distance

Reduced Performance

Cooling performance will decrease when:

  • Relative humidity is already high
  • The environment is completely enclosed
  • Ventilation is insufficient
  • Too much water is introduced
  • Mist contacts surfaces before evaporating

Under favorable environmental conditions, localized cooling of approximately 4–8°C may be achievable, but actual results depend on site conditions and should not be treated as a guaranteed room-temperature reduction.
